The liner for a bath consists of a foam mat enclosed inside a water-tight layer or sheet, with suction cups (25) for fixing it to the bath. The liner is divided up into several sections (11, 13) linked together. The head section (11)is relatively short; whereas the sections (13) for the bottom and legs are longer. At least part of the sections have a non-slip surface (15). The sections are attached to a base sheet (21) which has the suction cups (25) on the underneath. The sections have spaces (23) inbetween.
