Dry separation method of the main constituents of household and/or industrial waste of similar kind where granulometric separation, pneumatic classification, separation through drum rotation and extraction of flexible materials are carried out. The first processing stage is carried out by an immediate separation avoiding mechanical shocks of that proportion of the waste particles two dimensions of which lie below a size range between 150 and 300 mm. The first process ends with the separation of products not immediately separated into products, two dimensions of which lie above a size range between 150 and 300 mm of which three dimensions lie above that value.
