The vessel is made up of two cylindrical floats which are lashed together to form a catamaran. The floats are made from flexible inflatable material and are located by sliding in the longeron guides coupled to the side plates. The cross members are bolted to the longerons at intervals along the length of the cylinders. The width of the cross members may be varied to accommodate seats or an engine bracket. The lower part of each float is fitted with a keel which is fitted with side brakets to hold it onto the hull.
