To dress floors of hard material such as marble the mobile grinder uses a wheel mounted chassis to locate grinding wheels on vertical axes. It is approximately rectangular in plan with a group of three grinders mounted under the forward half, and with two road wheels mounted under the rear corners. Second road wheels with vertically adjustable castors are located between the grinders, and the grinder drive axles are suspended from a rotatable circular plate. In plan, the grinder axles are equally disposed about the axis of plate revolution, and when drive is engaged the plate rotates simultaneously with each grinder axle.
