NEW MATERIAL:Fluoran compounds of the formula wherein R1, R2 are each H, unsubstituted or a 1-4C alkoxy-substituted 1-4C alkyl, cyclohexyl, benzyl; R3 is H, a 1-4C alkyl; R4 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, allyl, propargyl; R5 is H, trifluoromethyl, halogen; X is H, nitro, halogen; m is 1, 2; n is 1-4.
