CONSTRUCTION OF DRY MASONRY BRICK STRUCTURE FOR HEAT ACCUMULATING CHAMBER

PURPOSE:To stabilize the dry masonry brick structure to be provided in the heat accumulating chamber by a method wherein a projection is formed on the central section of every other side of the one end surface of each of hexagonal dry masonry brick so that the brick has a total of three projections on one end surface thereof and all such bricks are piled up to provide the dry masonry brick structure. CONSTITUTION:A hexagonal tubular brick 1 has the three projections 2 each formed on the central section of every other side of one end surface thereof. Each of the projections 2 has a thickness t2 and a height h2 equal to the thickness t1 and the height h1 of the hexagonal tubular brick 1. To assemble the dry masonry brick structure, one brick is inserted into a space formed by every three bricks which are arranged opposite to one another with their end surfaces having no projections thereon making an angle of 60 degrees with respect to one another. In piling up such bricks, it is necessary that the height h2 of each of the projections of every brick is equal to the height h1 of the brick and the piled bricks are in engagement with one another to form one layer to thereby obtain the stabilized dry masonry brick structure.
