ELECTRON-GUN ELECTRODES STRUCTURE FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PURPOSE:To prevent any deformation of a G2 electrode by superposing the peripheral ends of a dish-like electrode and a closed cylinder electrode to make a unified G2 electrode, and making protruding parts of a G3 electrode to be fitted into the inverted parts of the closed cylinder electrode. CONSTITUTION:An inline-type unified electron gun is constituted of a cathode constructing body 10, a G1 electrode 11 integrated with the body 10, a G2 electrode 22, a G3 electrode 23, a G4 electrode 14, and a cylindrical magnetic electrode 15 with a bottom . The G2 electrode 22 consists of a dish-like electrode 22-1 facing the G1 electrode 11 and a closed cylinder electrode 22-2 facing the G3 electrode 23, the peripheral ends of which are superposed. Three protruding parts 23B provided on a closed surface 23A, which is on the electrode 22 side of the electrode 23, are made to be fitted into three inverted parts provided on the electrode 22-2. Owing to the above constitution, any deformation which might be caused due to the stress applied to the G2 electrode during the assembly can be prevented.
