CONSTRUCTION OF FILTRATE EXTRACTING OF PRESS PLATE

PURPOSE:To enhance the dehydrating rate of cake, by providing a gap to ensure the passage of filtrate which has passed through a filter cloth, to between a recessed part of press diaphragm and an opening port of vertical hole for taking the filtrate out of an auxiliary frame. CONSTITUTION:Projected lines 37, 38 are provided to the inner wall surface of a recessed part 3C corresponding to a vertical hole part 20 for preventing the hole 20 of an auxiliary frame 2 for discharging the filtrate from plugging by the recessed part 30 of an expanded press diaphragm 3, at the expansion of the diaphragm 3. The filtrate produced at the pressing of cake is introduced to the filtrate extracting holes 20 through a gap 39, by keeping the gap 39 so that the filtrate can pass through between the recessed part 30 and the inner wall surface 2b of the opening 2a of frame 2, when the diaphragm 3 expands to the outside. As a result, the dehydration rate is enhanced.
