The specification describes a device used to trim and empty bulk material in a cargo or storage room. The device consists of at least one raking device capable of vertical and transverse movement in the direction of motion of the bulk with at least one similar raking device at an angle to the first. These raking devices are used in conjunction with one another to move the bulk material towards at least one vertical transporting device. This device is distinguishable over the prior state of the art in that it can compensate for variations in width of the bulk material storage container.
