The hydraulically operated lift platform (26) is intended for fitting e.g. at the rear of a truck. It is carried by two lift arms (18) pivoted (17,25) to truck and platform respectively and provided with two hydraulic cylinders (20) which permit raising and lowering the platform and moving it between a horizontal and vertical position. Each arm (18) is pivoted (17) to a swivel lever (10) which itself is pivoted (11) in a housing (4) on the truck and carries the trunnion-mounted cylinder (20) whose other end is pivoted (29) to a downward projection at the other end of the arm. A further actuator cylinder (30) is pivoted (31,33) between each housing (4) and the platform (26) and is independently operable. FL.
