CONTROL OF CONDENSATION PRODUCTS IN HYDROFORMYLATION PROCESS Hydroformylating alpha-olefins in a cyclic homogeneous liquid phase process utilizing a modified rhodium catalyst in which iron is introduced into the reaction as a contaminant thereof, the improvement which comprises controlling the degree of condensation of aldehyde within the homogeneous liquid phase process by controlling the amount of iron which is provided within the homogeneous liquid phase.
