ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: ? To novel steroid 17-hydroxy spirosultines and the corresponding acids, answering the general formula I: (I) wherein R1 represents an alkyl radical containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, A represents a hydrogen atom and B represents a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group configuration .beta., Or A and B form together a double bond, X and Y represent a group: or X represents an OH group and Y is a group: CH2-CH2 - - OM wherein M represents an alkali metal atom or an NH 4 group. The invention also provides a preparation of these novel method. The derivatives of formula (I) possess remarkable activity progrestomimétique and an anti-aldostéronique activity.
