This is directed to a temperature.humidity detecting element which can detect the temperature and humidity with a single element and a detectilg apparatus using the temperature.humidity detecting element. The temperature.humidity detecting element of the present invention varies the element impedance value with respect to variations in the temperature and humidity, and the temperature.humidity detecting apparatus is adapted to provide the variations in the temperature.humidity detecting element impedance as detection signals of the temperature and humidity. They are widely used and of great value in industrial epplication wherein the humidity control needs to perform simultaneously with the temperature control, since temperature and humidity controlling operations can be made by the single element and the one apparatus.
