The two hydraulic rams are arranged in tandem. The pressure space above the piston of the first ram (HA) is connected to a control valve (Usz1) coupled to pressure oil pump with a flywheel. The pressure space of the second ram (HB) is connected on one hand by a line to the control valve (Usz2) and on the other hand to a non-return valve (Vsz2). The first ram space underneath the piston is coupled to its control valve via another non-return valve (Vsz1), while the second ram pressure space is connected to the first ram control valve via its own control valve. The space of the first ram is also connected to its control valve via a line, branching off to the second control valve. In the line between the first control valve and the first ram is incorporated a pressure switch (NyK). The design reduces the energy input while maintaining the machine performance.
