The wing of a wind driven mechanism consists of an auxiliary wing mounted behind the main wing at an angle of approximately 45 deg. A gap is left between them. The arrangement results in the increase of the lifting force of the wing at least 2.5 times. A similar arrangement is well known in the aircraft construction industry and is used as a take-off and landing aid under the name of the Fowler wing.
