The articulated flaps are arranged at the trailing edges of the aircraft wings. The auxiliary articulated flaps are used for increasing lift for short takeoff aircraft. The flap arrangement within the exhaust region of the reaction engine is arranged at the trailing edge of the wing. The thrust gas generator is mounted on the leading edge of this wing. The articulated flap sections are actuated by a rotating arm which carries a section of flap which consists in turn of three pivoted sections. Above this articulated section a deflecting channel is formed with the rear flap.
