The window unit for a commercial vehicle has a case (1) supporting a curved front glass (2) towards customers and which can be lifted. There is also a rear glass (3) which is pivotally mounted to allow people to take selected products. There are shelves inside the glass to support the products. The front part of the glass has a horizontal pivot at the top and a flange at the bottom. This fits into a housing to hold the glass shut. The flange has a hook, with which the front glass can be lifted.
