The device comprises a number of vertical parallel axially movable push rods which cooperate with a horizontal actuating bar which is axially and rotationally movable. The upper ends of the rods abut on various inclined surfaces formed in recesses in the lower surface, such that selective positioning of the rods moves the bar in the desired manner. To control a pneumatic and electric switch. The bar upper surface has a part cylindrical member spring biassed towards a fixed complementary surface formed by a chamber in the control body, the position of the bar and thus the member controlling a number of pneumatic openings in the chamber surface. The control also has an electrical switch formed by contacts on a further part cylindrical surface on the upper surface, the contacts being spring biassed against fixed contacts in a recess in the housing. The switch control is compact, providing a high number of switch function, and may be used with vehicle air conditioning equipment.
