The stylographic pen is designed for easy holding by a child when first learning to write. It is formed in three sections bent into a Z-pattern (1,2,3), the nib section (2) being at an acute angle to the top end section (1). This nib section can be at an angle of between 90 and 150 deg., preferably 120 deg., to the middle one (3), while the angle between the middle section and the end section can be between 45 and 90 deg., preferably 85 deg. The pen can have a nib or a ballpoint tip. The pen pref. has a uniform thickness throughout its length.
