Adhesive information plaque for vehicle number plate - bears information on lower half which projects from plate perimeter with upper half carrying adhesive

The auxiliary information plate (2) is for attachment to the registration number plate (1) of a vehicle. It comprises an aluminium strip, the upper half (3) of which carries an adhesive and the lower half (4) of which carries the name of the retail garage in characters pressed out of the plaque (2). The upper half (3) of the plaque is adhered to the back of the number plate (1), so that the lower half projects below the perimeter of the number plate. The two halves (3,4) of the plaque are separated by a stepped portion.
