Axisymmetrically Loaded Thin Circular Plate in Adhesive Contact with an Elastic Half-Space

摘要

The interaction problem of adhesive contact between an axisymmetrically loaded thin circular plate and an isotropic or transversely isotropic elastic half-spaced is reduced to a problem of solving a pair of coupled integral equations for the unknown normal and shearing interfacial tractions.
