The remote control has a plastic shell (1) formed by an upper half-shell (2) and a lower half-shell (3) separably coupled together. An electronic control board (4) is inserted between the half-shells, where the electronic control board is fed by a battery (5) and operated by a control button (6). The upper half-shell includes two molded parts, where one of the molded parts includes an opening (7). The other molded part is made of thermoplastic rubber, and integrally forms the control button projected in the opening. A perimetric seal (9) is provided between the upper and lower half-shells. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a remote control for automation.
