A method and a prod. for applying a magnetic field to organic matter to be treated. A fragmented, magnetisable material, e.g. powdered ferrite, is incorporated in or on an application support which can hold a thin layer of the fragments over a large surface area. The fragments are magnetised so that the two faces of the support are of opposite magnetic polarity over the whole of the support area. The application of north polarity develops beneficial Yang energy over the area treated. On the human body, the application is used to promote the circulation of biomagnetic energy, following the principles of acupuncture.
