The publicity support plate (10) has at least one of its two faces made transparent. The faces are separated by an interstice forming the seating of a sheet (5) in any suitable material with the required inscriptions. There is a pivot arrangement for fixing the plate for e.g to the back of a vehicle seat (9A) to form a fold-away table for the user of the seat behind. A movable rod is used to hold the sheet in position after insertion.
