VERTICAL MULTI-STAGE COMBUSTION-TYPE CONTINUOUS ANNEALING APPARATUS FOR WIRE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To enable to uniformly anneal a wire material, by vertically providing the core wire pipe through which the wire material runs, wrapping a plurality of the desired positions of the core wire pipe in heating means, and providing flue pipes between the heating means so as to wrap the core wire pipe in them. CONSTITUTION:The core wire pipe 2 through which a wire material 1 to be annealed runs is provided with extension along a vertical direction and wrapped in combustion chambers 3 at proper intervals, flue pipes 4 are individually provided between the combustion chambers 3 and at the uppermost position so as to wrap the core wire pipe 2 in them, and an outer wall 6 is provided at the peripheries of the flue pipes 4 through a heat-insulating material 5. In addition, fins are provided at the periphery of the core wire pipe 2. The combustion chamber 3 is equipped with fireproof castable on its inner surface and heat-insulating castable on its outer surface. Combustion is carried out by supplying fuel and air through a fuel-supply pipe 16 and an air-supply pipe 17, respectively, to continuously anneal the wire material 1. Hence the wire material 1 can be uniformly annealed.
