PURPOSE:To promote the rooting or rushes and tillering and increase the yield in the rushes of good quality, by using a plant hormonal agent of an N-6-benzyladenine as an active constituent. CONSTITUTION:The yield and quality of rushes are improved by using N-6- benzyladenine as an active constituent. The N-6-benzyladenine in an aqueous solution, emulsion or solid agent is applied to the stems of the rushes or soil in the fields in an amount of 1-100g/are. The yield of long rushes having the best quality and a stem length =105cm can be increased.
