METHOD FOR REMOVING VARIATION IN WEIGHT OF ONE LAP AND WEIGHT IN LONG DIRECTION OF LAP AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To form laps without the variation in weight, by setting an adjusting standard draft based on the difference value from the standard weight of one lap, and adding the draft ratios set to compensate the trend value of the variation in the weight in the long direction thereof successively to the laps. CONSTITUTION:The weight of one lap is weighed by a weighing apparatus, and compared with the upper and lower limit set values by a comparator. If the weight is within the upper and lower set limit values, it is compared with a set median weight value by a comparing arithmetic unit. The deviation value is then used as a basis to calculate the adjusting standard draft, which is then input to a draft ratio proportion control mechanism (B). A draft ratio for removing the variation in the weight in the long direction of the lap is memorized in a memory apparatus, and signals corresponding to the draft ratio necessary according to the progress of the lap to be treated in a drafting part are given to a draft ratio changing mechanism.
