FALLING DAM WHICH CAN FALL FORWARD AND BACKWARD

PURPOSE:To enable a falling dam to completely fall both forward and backward by installing a cylinder which extrudes a cylinder rod from a downstream side to an upper stream side, and a cylinder which extrudes the cylinder rod from the upperstream side to the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:In case a falling dam (a) is caused to rise in a direction of a downstream side, the falling dam (a) monolithically united with a transmission shaft 4 is caused to rise through the medium of a twisting lever 9 through the extrusion of a cylinder rod 7 by the oil pressure of a downstream side hydraulic cylinder 8, and in case of falling, the falling dam (a) is caused to fall through the pull-back of the rod 7 by the oil pressure of the cylinder 8. In case the falling dam (a) is caused to rise in a direction of an upstream side, the falling dam (a), monolithically united with the transmission shaft 4, is caused to rise through the medium of a twisting lever 9' through the extrusion of a cylinder rod 7' by the oil pressure of an upstream side cylinder 8', and in case of falling, the falling dam (a) is caused to fall through the pull-back of the rod 7' by the oil pressure of the cylinder 8'.
