A compound having the formula R2SCH(R)N(R1)C(X)NHR3, useful in the control of weeds is disclosed, the groups R1, R2, R3, and X being as indicated in Tables A,B,G,D,E,F and G of the specification. Intermediates, methods and reaction mixtures for making the compounds are disclosed. Also disclosed are herbicidal compositions containing the compounds and methods of controlling weeds using the compounds.
