System for detecting toxoplasmosis by direct agglutination, comprising a dilution buffer and a suspension of toxoplasms, characterized in that the dilution buffer contains at least one coloured substance which has the ability to be adsorbed onto the said toxoplasms without modifying their antigenic characteristics and their capacity for agglutination in the presence of antitoxoplasm antibodies.
