A drying chamber comprises an endless conveyor chain (1), whereto small blocks (2) are secured which carry respective rods (3) supporting the silk-screened workpieces to be dried and being movable in a horizontal position inside the chamber (9) and to a loading position, as well as idle wheels (5) associated to the rods (3) for rotating the latter about their axes from the horizontal position to the vertical position upon emergence from the chamber, thereby the rods (3) are caused to move in the last-mentioned position all the way along the return path way back into the chamber (9) and being then brought from the vertical position to the horizontal one.
