PURPOSE:When roving is wound up around a bobbin in multilayers, optimum bobbin rotation numbers for each layer are set in a microcomputer and, when the difference between the set values and the observed values gets out of the control limit, the number of the bobbin rotation is modified to keep the roving winding-up tension in a certain range. CONSTITUTION:In a bobbin lead type fly frame, roving is wound up around a bobbin in multilayers, wherein the optimum rotation number N deg. corresponding to each layer n is calculated and this relationship is set in a microcomputer, the bobbin rotation number Nn corresponding to the roving layer n is automatically measured during the spinning operation and the set value N deg. is compared with the observed value Nn in the microcomputer and when the difference gets out of the previously set control limit, the bobbin rotation number is automatically varied.
