Herbicidal agents contg. linuron as active ingredient, organic solvents and emulsifiers, contain as crystallisation inhibiting components (which inhibit cyrstallisation of the active ingredient from aq. emulsions of the concentrate) 0.2-5 (pref. 1-2) wt.% phthalic acid dialkyl ester and/or phthalic acid alkyd resin and/or oil-modified phthalic acid alkyd resin and/or terpene phenol resin. Inclusion of the crystallisation inhibitors permits linuron to be formulated as a liq. emulsifiable concentrate, which is not subject to the disadvantages (e.g. dusting) of wettable powder formulations.
