The pair of drawing-out rollers are formed by a pressure roller and a cylinder with alternating projections on its surface, at the crossing points of spiral lines. These lines are in two groups where the lines in each group are parallel to each other, one group having a left pitch and the other a right pitch. These lines are so arranged that the ratio of their angle to the mantle line of the cylinder is 1.0-1.8. With a ratio of 1.0, the step of the projection of the right-pitched lines is greater or less than the step of the projections on the left-pitched lines. Designed for drawing and separating the fibres of sliver or rovings for ringless spinning, the system increases the fibre separation so that subsequent yarn faults are reduced.
