The device is used to store tooth prints made in an hardened soft material, from the hardening stage, in the patient's mouth, to the processing stage in the laboratory. This device contains an air-tight container (2,3) inside which the tooth print (12) is kept. This container (2,3) contains a certain volume of a liquid (10), such as water. An electrical circuit creates and regulates, inside the container (2,3) a vapour atmosphere (11) which surrounds the hardened tooth prints (12) and maintains them at a preset temp. This temp. is greater than that of the room at the time when the tooth prints are taken but less than, or equal to, the mouth inner temp. The tooth prints keep their dimensions constant and tooth prosthesis made from them are, thus more accurate.
