The door closing mechanism comprises a rotatable camshaft and two cam followers (20A,20B) contained within a common housing (40). One end of the camshaft carries two cams (14A,14B) of oval cross-section, which lie between the two cam followers. The cam followers have inner faces (21) which incorporate two grooves (21) separated by an intermediate ridge (22). When the door is opened, the camshaft rotates causing the cams (14A,14B) to bear against the faces of the followers (20A,20B). This slides them apart against the action of the springs (23), biassing the door into a closed position.
