SAMPLING DEVICE FOR MEASURING GRAIN SIZE DISTRIBUTION IN DUST

PURPOSE:To enable refinement of the grain size distribution in dust by time by constituting dust catchers for respective nozzles are formed respectively on a series of moving and sticking surfaces and the dust catching for each unit time is continuously accomplished. CONSTITUTION:The sample gas supplied into each sample gas introducing port 9 disposed on the outside circumferential surface of a hermetic cover 8 passes successively nozzles 5 and blows and deposits the dust contained therein atop tapes 16. The gas is then sucked into a sample gas suction port 10. A tape winding roller 14 is rotated to wind the tape 16 at a low speed, by which the dust deposited according to the time on each tape 16 is obtd. The tape 16 is removed after winding for a required time and the grain size distribution by time of each deposited dust is measured. The grain size distribution of the dust is thus refined by time.
