METHOD OF MOUNTING WEATHER STRIP OF DOOR GLASS FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and time for manufacturing a weather strip, by directly applying silicone resin adhesive to a door glass so as to form a weather strip. CONSTITUTION:A tube container 8 having a nozzle 10 is urged by hand against a lower portion of a door glass 1 for an automobile, and is pressed by hand to extrude adhesive contained in the container 8, thereby forming a silicone rubber layer 9. Under such a circumstance, the silicone rubber layer 9 has a good adhesiveness to the glass, and is kept under such a condition that the adhesive is applied to the glass, and as a result, a desired weather strip may be obtained. The silicone rubber layer 9 may be formed to various shapes such as a triangular cross-section, a circular cross-section and the like by changing the nozzle 10.
