GROUT TO BE POURED INTO GROUND BY GAP FILLING PROCESS

PURPOSE:To prepare the titled grout which reduces frictional resistance between a propelling pipe and the ground and develops strength as back-filling agent, prepared by mixing 1st solution containing sodium hydrogencarbonate, bentonite and a highly water-absorptive resin, with 2nd solution containing sodium silicate and a highly water-absorptive resin. CONSTITUTION:The grout is prepared by mixing (A) 1st solution consisting of 20-50kg of sodium hydrogencarbonate, 20-50kg of bentonite, 0.3-0.4kg of a highly water-absorptive resin (vinyl alcohol/acrylic acid copolymer having a particle diameter of about 0.5mm.) and the balance of water (all per 100l), with (B) 2nd solution consisting of 20-50l of a sodium silicate solution, 0.2-0.3kg of a highly water-absorptive resin and the balance of water (all per 100l) in nearly equal amounts.
