The method involves partially fixing a connecting element with each of precast concrete parts (10), and providing an interstice between longitudinal edges (2, 3) of connecting surfaces (1). Recesses (4) are filled with a well-flowing grout e.g. EuroGrout(RTM: Not defined), and are arranged in a gap between the connecting surfaces. The interstice is filled with less flowable, fast hardening sealing mortars compared to the grout, and remaining gaps between the connecting surfaces and the interstice are filled with the grout. A thixotropic mortar is used as the sealing mortars. An independent claim is also included for a tool for filling interstices with a sealing mortar for manufacturing a connection between precast concrete parts.
