STEAMING MACHINE FOR GREEN TEA LEAF FOR PREPARING GREEN TEA

PURPOSE:To make the initial steaming treatment of raw green tea leaves uniform and good, by means of a specific rotating drum for introducing steam provided in a steaming drum for the initial steaming of the raw green tea leaves. CONSTITUTION:A fixed steaming drum 1 is connected to a rotating steaming drum 2 in a steaming machine, and a rotating shaft 5, having agitating arms 4, and rotating in the direction of arrow is provided therein. On the other hand, a drum 10, rotating in the direction of arrow, and having plural curved blades 8 for introducing the steam equipped with paths 9 for introducing the steam is provided coaxially with the fixed steaming drum 1 in the fixed drum 1. Raw green tea leaves introduced from an introductory port 7 are steamed in the steaming drums 1 and 2 with superheated steam introduced from blowing pipes 6 while agitated by agitating arms 4 one after another and taken out of the right end side of the machine. In the process, the initial steaming of the raw green tea leaves is carried out uniformly with the superheated steam jetted from the rotating drum 10 for introducing the steam to the inside in the tangential direction in the fixed steaming drum 1 without sticking moisture to the surface of the raw green tea leaves.
