METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LOW BATH RATIO DYEING TEST

PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly carry out a dyeing test uniformly and certainly by a dyeing liquid with a low bath ratio, by using a sample cloth piece holding member formed by bending a metal wire connected in an endless shape into a long double U-shape. CONSTITUTION:The inner frame and an outer frame of a cloth holding frame body 10 formed by bending a stainless steel wire into a double U-shape are opened to suspend an endless cloth peace 7 which is, in turn, inserted into a container 1 in a folded or a wound state and a dyeing liquid is supplied in said container 1 and, after the opening part thereof is closed by a cap 3, said container 1 is heated from the outside while rotated in a liquid tank in such a state that the axial line of said container becomes horizontal. Because the cloth piece suspended between holding frame parts 12, 12 takes such motion that it is repeatedly fallen into the lower dyeing liquid from the space between the holding frame parts 12, 12 in irregular movement when reaches the upper dead limit by the revolving motion of the container and recirculated therethrough, it becomes disentangled to increase a dyeing speed and uniform dyeing is performed within a short time.
