The barbecue comprises a rectangular base frame on legs. A fire box (17,18) is pivotably coupled (9) to the open-fronted base frame, such that it can be placed in three different positions. - The fire box has two end walls (18), two side walls (20) and two walls of which one forms a frying plate and the other a grille. In the downwardly swivelled horizontal position, the plate is uppermost. In the upright position, the grille can be used for roasting on a fork and, in the rearwardly swivelled horizontal position, the grille is uppermost. FL(5/5)
