Reinforced medical-surgical tubes and hoses are made by first extruding a flexible hose, cooling it, then winding a filament helical winding about the cooled hose, extruding an outer layer of flexible material on the helical winding and the base hose, cutting the resulting laminated hose into pieces and forming filament-free ends on the cut pieces.
