Improvements in or relating to garments and/or methods of protecting garments

A method of and/or means for protecting garments is described particularly garments worn by persons indulging in acquatic pursuits such as diving, surfing, boating and boad- sailing. The protection is provided by attaching sections (5. 15) of material to those surfaces of a flexible garment (7, 16) which, in use, are subjected to the most wear. The sections (5, ₁5) are overlapped and attached in a manner so that flexibility of the garment (7, 16) is not inhibited along a predetermined direction.
