This rear suspension system comprises a rear fork member having a front end pivotably connected to the body frame and a rear end which rotatably supports the rear wheel.An elastic band member is streched between the rear fork member and the body frame. With this arrangement, comfort is ensured, while, at the same time, weight is reduced.
