MICROPROCESSOR-CONTROLLED INTERFACE UNIT, FOR A REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM, BETWEEN AT LEAST ONE SUBSCRIBER CHANNEL, TRANSMITTING ANALOG SIGNALS AND A DIGITAL COUPLING NETWORK.
The cut-in appts. is operative between a two-way subscriber channel working with analogue signals and digital equipment, esp. subscriber circuit for telephone installations with digital coupling fields. A coder is provided that converts analogue into digital signals. Its output terminals are connected to a clamping device. The latter selectively suppresses the coder output signals by subtraction of unwanted signals in digital form. The output terminals of the clamping device are coupled to the digital equipment. A decoder converts the digital signals of the latter into analogue signals. The decoder output is connected to a summing circuit.
