The invention relates to an electrohydraulic support control system in which a control device specific to the construction and controlled by a microcomputer is in each case allocated to all support units of the winning operation. According to the invention, a microcomputer is here allocated in each case to a support subgroup which comprises several adjacent support units, which microcomputer is specific to the group and controls all support units of the subgroup via their control devices. At the same time, an interactive, subgroup-overriding mode of operation of the microcomputers is preferably possible in such a way that, in the event of failure of a microcomputer on account of a fault indication, its support units can be operated by the microcomputer of one of the adjacent support subgroups.
