Method of improving the keying of a reinforced-concrete root pile which forms a root pile wall preferably with other root piles of the same type, in which method, to produce the root pile, a casing tube is sunk, the drillings are conveyed from the casing tube or are flushed out through a flushing space surrounding the casing tube, a reinforcing cage is inserted into the casing tube, the casing tube is filled with concrete, and the casing tube is pulled out of the ground, characterised in that more than one collar tube extending in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing cage is attached to the inside of the reinforcing cage, which collar tube has apertures in its wall at longitudinal distances from one another directed towards the periphery of the bore hole, in that, by means of an injection tube inserted into the collar tube and axially displaceable relative to the collar tube, water is forced - at least once - into sections of the collar tube which are defined by seals located at the outer periphery of the injection tube, which water penetrates through the apertures in the collar tube and rips open the concrete surrounding the reinforcing cage, and then a cement-water mixture is pressed into the injection tube, which cement-water mixture penetrates through the apertures in the collar tube into cracks in the concrete surrounding the reinforcing cage and, in case of soil which can be injected, the soil surrounding this concrete or, in the case of soil which cannot be injected, rips open and fills the soil in places and preferably combines with a cement-water mixture which has been forced into the soil in a corresponding manner by at least one adjacent root pile, and in that the injection tube is pulled out of the collar tube, and the collar tube is filled with concrete or a water-cement mixture.
