Thermally denatured DNA MD-011 which has an antitumour action and has been obtained by heating the substance removed from the disrupted cells of bacteria which belong to the Mycobacterium genus is described. Also described are processes for preparing the thermally denatured DNA MD-011, and antitumour compositions which contain it.
